School Uniform
Mangakino School requires that its students wear a school uniform. School uniforms keep students focused on their education, not their clothes. This creates a level playing field among students, reducing peer pressure and bullying. Wearing uniforms enhances school pride, unity, and community spirit.
Our school polo shirt and hoodie/polar fleece jersey is compulsory, along with any black pants or shorts.
Our school jackets, track pants, and caps/beanies are optional.
You can purchase uniform items from the school office.
Your child will be issued with everything they need for the year. There is no cost.
We understand that many of our students live on farms and in out-of-town areas. To support our rural whānau and ensure every child has a reliable way to get to school, we provide a dedicated School Van Run.
Our van service operates on all school days with the following timetable:
Morning Pick-up 8:00am – 8:30am: Please ensure your child is ready at the designated gate.
Afternoon Departure 3:10pm: The van departs promptly from the school grounds.
Afternoon Drop-off 3:20pm – 4:00pm: Delivery to your home or designated farm drop-off point.
